Rev. David A. Keely
 
Rev. David Aaron Keely is a native of St. Louis.   At Greater Progressive MB Church,  David accepted Christ into his life at a tender age.  There he also was licensed to preach the gospel in 1988 and latter ordained in 1998.  He is the proud son of Stella Willis and has three older siblings.
 
He is a graduate of Vashon High School.  He lived a vast majority of his life in the Walnut Park area of St. Louis City and is living proof that good things do come from the hood.  He pursued seminary at American Baptist College in Nashville, TN.  He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Minor in Pastoral Studies and Christian Education.
 
Rev David A. Keely has received various certifications and accreditations from the following:  The National Baptisit Convention - Biblical Studies and Church Organization.  The Berean District Association - Biblical and Ministerial Studies.  The Stone Rivers District Association of Nashville, TN - Pastoral Studies and Church Administration.  He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
 
His service in ministry has been continous.  From 1994-1997 he served as Minister of Church Growth and Outreach at Berean Baptist Church while at the same time holding position as a Peer Counselor in the Baptist student Union at American Baptist College in Nashville, TN.  From 1997-2002, as an Associate Minister at Cleveland Street Baptist Church he coordinated Christian education ministries and programs as well as prison ministry evangelism.  After moving back to St. Louis in 2002 he served as Minister of Discipleship at Blessed Hope MB Church and was later appointed as Assistant Pastor. 
 
During his most recent assignment as Assistant Pastor at Blessed Hope MB Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Herman E. Toles, God has given him a vision and has confirmed to him that it is time for him to do the work that God has been preparing him for.  GODS vision requires him to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ while leading in holistic worship of the true and living God.
